An Unforgettable Valentine's

So....Valentine's Day is right around the corner.

Have you put any thought into what you'll be doing on this day?

It's a great day to celebrate love no matter if you're in a relationship with someone special, or if you are single.

For women, Boudoir Photography is becoming more popular. It's a great way to celebrate yourself! It's a great way to share yourself that with someone special as well. The images created from this type of a photo session are ones you will cherish for years and years to come, as they portray YOU as the beautiful soul you are.

Below are the details of an upcoming Marathon Boudoir I am hosting designed specially for Valentine's Day. It's a day of photo sessions held in one location. Come enjoy some refreshments, bring a friend for support, get pampered and enjoy yourself for an afternoon!

It's a gift for yourself ladies, or a great gift to share with your significant other. Guys, what a great gift to give to your sweetheart! It's a gift that will make the day an unforgettable one!

Here's to love!

Bridal and Personal Boudoir photography

Recently, I was privileged to take some beautiful photos of Maddie who wanted some bridal boudoir images mixed in with a personal touch for her session. The light coming through her living room window was bathing her in such a soft romantic light, I was amazed at the results. I love the way light plays in photography. Thank you Maddie for such a wonderful session! Congratulations to you and your sweetheart!

Boudoir Photography - For Valentine's Day

You know what I love about doing Boudoir sessions for Valentine’s Day?

Getting to watch you have so much fun!

Fun getting comfortable in front of the camera. Fun going through each pose that is the most flattering for you.  Fun allowing yourself to shine in front of the camera. Getting to know you a little so I can help you have the most amazing time for your session!

It’s a gift for your sweetheart and it’s a gift for yourself. It’s about you. For a day, or an afternoon, or an hour…it’s all about you…and it’s about feeling good about you! It’s about sharing a very personal side of yourself with your sweetheart, enhancing your relationship…and it’s all about the love you have for yourself so you can share this part of you…you may even learn something about yourself through one of these sessions!

It’s all part of planning a perfect day for you and your sweetheart. Preparing for your session is also part of the whole experience. It’s fun, relaxing and helps you get your mind and body ready! There’s many options to choose from…it can be short and sweet or you can plan a whole day and night around this! You could include a manicure, pedicure, refreshing facial, and/or a relaxing massage; have your hair and makeup professionally done for the session; experience the session in a luxurious hotel suite (that you will later enjoy with your significant other!) and you’ll get a few “sneak peeks” of the photographs taken during your Boudoir session sent to you during the evening!

Boudoir photography is a great way to celebrate Valentine’s Day. It’s also fun to spend with friends in a Boudoir party, or even as a Bridal Boudoir party.

It’s a wonderful way to celebrate yourself any time of the year. (More on this later…)

All the pampering that goes into preparing for your session is available through packages I create for you personally, through people who I’ve connected with that offer their hearts passions to the world, with only the best products and personal services for you.

Make this Valentine’s Day special for you, no matter what you do to celebrate.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Until next time…:-)

Looking After Your Feet!- The Benefit of Pedicures

Having a pedicure done before your photography session is not only going to leave you with great looking feet, it’s also going to help you to feel good…from the inside…out.

If you’ve ever had a pedicure, you know how great it feels to have them pampered… not to mention the appearance of your feet afterwards, with the freshly manicured nails and polish to make them look fantastic!

When you book your Personal or Bridal Boudoir  or personal photography session with me at Sarah Kelly studios, you have the option to include a pedicure, manicure, or both to your package. Options like this are offered to help you prepare, so that you look and feel your absolute best for your photography session! After all, a Boudoir photography session isn’t something you do every day!

But did you know that having regular pedicures (and manicures for that matter), while helping your feet and hands look their best… also have health benefits?

  • Proper nail care prevents infection and other side effects like ingrown nail growth – through the cutting, shaping and cleaning of the nails.
  • Exfoliation of the skin removes dead skin cells allowing new skin growth, resulting in a smoother appearance. Exfoliation on the feet also prevents calluses from building up, as well as more uncomfortable conditions like bunions and corns.
  • Soaking feet in a warm foot bath (usually given before a pedicure) relaxes and soothes the muscles and tendons in the feet and ankles, helping YOU feel relaxed as a result. It also softens the skin, so exfoliation is easier.
  • Massaging foot baths boost blood circulation in the body, promoting relaxation and relief of tension.
  • The foot and leg massage is probably the best part of a pedicure, because it feels soooo good! Massaging the feet and calves also improves circulation in the body, the application of lotion or oils moisturize the skin, and the massaging releases tension, promotes relaxation and offers stress relief!

Everyone deserves to pamper their feet and hands. Pedicures are for women and men. They’re good for your feet, good for your body and good for your spirit!
